Delta Force 2 is the second installment in the Delta Force franchise developed by Novalogic. The player once again has the opportunity to become a part of the elite troops of the United States Army and test his or her strength by performing various operations around the globe.

​

Compared to the first part, the sequel saw great improvements in the areas of visual fidelity and artificial intelligence. A new command and control system was also introduced, allowing the players to issue simple orders to their AI teammates.

Similar to the previous game, Delta Force 2 requires absolute concentration and caution on the player's part, because each bullet can be fatal, and there are no saves on the battlefield. Enemies also do not rest and do everything possible to interfere with the task, making use of not just infantry this time around, but also utilizing a huge variety of military equipment, from helicopters and armored personnel carriers to tanks and gunboats.
